A technical glitch in the Easter episode of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” caused amusement for moderator Günther Jauch and the audience. The wrong answer options were displayed for a question on Sunday. “That can’t be true,” said Jauch. “Guys, can you have your Kölsch barrel…”, the 66-year-old joked in the direction of the editors.

“Never have we,” he added. “That leads to headlines like this: ‘Huge breakdown’, ‘Huge disgrace’ with ‘Who wants to be a millionaire?’.”

The breakdown dragged on for a few more minutes. To bridge the gap, Jauch asked the participant Luca Demirel to tell “a little more about home”. He reported that he had recently been flashed for the first time and asked Jauch how often this had happened to him. 50 times, Jauch estimated first – and then rowed back to 35, which still caused some mock indignation in the audience. “Well, sorry, I’m asbach very old,” replied Jauch.
