King Willem-Alexander (55) and Queen Máxima (51) are currently on a three-day state visit to Sweden. On Tuesday, the royal court in Stockholm invited to the state banquet in honor of the Dutch royals. And the top-class guests have followed. Among others, Queen Silvia (78) and King Carl XVI appeared. Gustaf (76), his sister Princess Christina (79) or Crown Princess Victoria (45) and Prince Daniel (49) as well as Princess Sofia (37) and Prince Carl Philip (43). Despite the glittering royal guest list, Queen Máxima in particular stood out in her outfit from the aristocratic crowd.

She wore a royal asymmetric floral print dress in a soft pink shade. The cut of the dress was also something special: it exposed one shoulder, the other was covered by a side cape that reached to the floor. Her dress also featured a blue sash. The queen paired it with a sparkling crown, an equally eye-catching brooch on her left shoulder and a pink handbag.

Queen Máxima obviously felt comfortable in her outfit, the good mood was written all over her face that evening. In numerous pictures, which can also be seen on Instagram, the 51-year-old laughs and shines.

The royal family informs that King Willem-Alexander also gave a speech at the state banquet in which he described Sweden and the Netherlands as “innovation leaders” and emphasized: “Together, with ingenuity and courage, we can achieve fantastic results.”

Willem-Alexander and his wife landed on Tuesday after the king had personally steered the government plane to Arlanda Airport as co-pilot. He often appears as a pilot or co-pilot. This is necessary so that he does not lose his license as an airline pilot, which he acquired in 2001.
