Amid the great grief for her daughter Lisa Marie Presley (1986-2023) and the smoldering fiduciary conflict with her granddaughter Riley Keough (33), actress Priscilla Presley (77) is taking care of a new professional project. She will voice her character in the upcoming Netflix adult animated series Agent Elvis. Matthew McConaughey (53) will take over the voice of Elvis Presley (1935-1977), which was announced last month. As the “People” magazine further reports, Priscilla Presley also acts as a co-author.

In the first trailer to be released, agents attempt to “arm” rock ‘n’ roll by turning Elvis into an agent himself. His first task seems to be to steal from the President, which he tries to prevent. Priscilla joins the action and fights an enemy before she and Elvis appear to be kissing in front of an altar.

Kaitlin Olson, Johnny Knoxville, Niecy Nash, Tom Kenny and Don Cheadle will also be heard on the series. Guest stars include: Ed Helms, Jason Mantzoukas, Christina Hendricks, Kieran Culkin, Chris Elliot, Asif Ali, Fred Armisen, Ego Nwodim, Simon Pegg, Craig Robinson, Gary Cole, George Clinton, Tara Strong and Tony Cavalero.

Priscilla’s latest role comes after Lisa Marie, rock legend Elvis Presley’s only child, died on January 12 at the age of 54. According to the magazine, she is said to have left control of her trust – which includes Elvis’ Graceland and 15 percent of Elvis’ estate – to her daughter, Riley Keough.

Lisa Marie had previously named Priscilla and her former business manager Barry Siegel as co-trustees in 2010 – but a change in 2016 placed the trust in the hands of her actor daughter and late son Benjamin Keough (1992-2020).

Priscilla’s attorneys filed a complaint in Los Angeles in January, challenging the “authenticity and validity” of the 2016 amendment, alleging, among other things, a typographical error and a mismatched signature.

Earlier this month, Priscilla told Magazine of the Trust’s behind-the-scenes drama, “I loved Elvis as much as he loved me. Lisa is a product of our love,” the statement began. “For anyone who thinks otherwise, it would be a desecration of the family heritage and disrespectful of what Elvis left in his life.” Priscilla didn’t give a name, but was referring to “a person who has bought into the family business and is trying to speak on behalf of our family.” This person is “not a representative of Elvis or our family. Please give us the time we need to clarify the matter,” she concluded her statement.

A hearing on the matter is scheduled for April 13.

“Agent Elvis” will be broadcast on Netflix on March 17th.
