Prince William (40) traveled to Poland this Thursday to meet British and Polish soldiers. As the “BBC” reports, the visit to Rzeszów near the Ukrainian border was initially kept secret for security reasons. In the meantime, however, the heir to the British throne has left and arrived safely in the capital, Warsaw. William said to British soldiers on site: “Thank you for everything you are doing here”.

Prince William will be in Poland for two days. Upon his arrival in Warsaw, addressing the Polish people, he said: “Our nations are united by a strong bond. This bond will be further strengthened by our cooperation in support of the Ukrainian people and their freedom, which is also ours and their freedom”.

The town of Rzeszów, where William visited troops, is an hour’s drive from the Ukrainian border. British, US and Polish soldiers secure Polish airspace from the military base there and support the Ukraine.

Williams’ two-day visit to Poland comes at the request of the British government. The heir to the throne will meet Polish President Andrzej Duda (50) in Warsaw tomorrow, Thursday. In addition, William visits a center for Ukrainian refugees.
