Prince William (40) attended the next public appointment on Tuesday (January 17) and visited the headquarters of the non-profit organization “Together As One (Aik Saath)” in Slough, in the county of Berkshire, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. They cooked together with the volunteers in the kitchen. William also helped along with his apron, as several pictures show.
While using tongs and the help of two employees, he pours numerous spaghetti from a pot into a pan, William beams and laughs again and again. According to the British “Daily Mail”, the Prince of Wales is said to have raved about the cooking skills of his wife, Princess Kate (41), at the meeting: “I cook a bit, but not well, Catherine does it very well.” However, William can at least prepare an “ordinary steak”, he is further quoted as saying. However, he admits, “My sauces are getting pretty dry and lumpy – I need to work on that.”
William and Kate’s Instagram account praised the organization’s work, “from volunteers helping young people with conflict resolution training to the Global Grub cookery program, which helps prepare people facing the rising cost of living , equipping them with the skills to prepare healthy, nutritious food on a tight budget”.
What William still doesn’t say a word about is his brother Prince Harry (38) and his recently published autobiography “Reserve” (original title “Spare”). The book has been making headlines for weeks and doesn’t put William in a good light. Among other things, Harry reports in it about an argument with his brother, in which William is said to have grabbed him and thrown him to the ground. At an appointment with Princess Kate on January 12 in a Liverpool hospital, William seemed to skillfully ignore journalists’ inquiries about his brother.
