The Monegasque princely family showed up on the balcony of the palace in Monte Carlo on St. John’s Eve. Albert II (65) and his wife Charlène (45) waved to the people along with their twins Jacques and Gabriella (8).
The performance took place on June 23 – exactly on the 13th anniversary of the couple’s engagement. And soon the next day of honor is coming up: Albert II and Charlène will celebrate their twelfth wedding anniversary on July 1st. At their most recent appointment, the family surveyed the preparations for St. John’s Day on June 24th. The royal couple stood on the balcony behind the children, the princess behind her son, the prince behind his daughter. Charlène wore a light blouse, Gabriella a white lace dress. Albert II and Jacques were seen in dark suits.
It was the princely couple’s first joint appearance in a few weeks. In June, both completed several solo dates. For example, Albert II alone attended the awards ceremony for the “Oceano pour Tous” educational competition at the Oceanographic Museum in Monaco. Also at the concert for the 100th birthday of Prince Rainier III. (1923-2005) on June 14 he came without his wife. She, on the other hand, was in a good mood at Water Safety Days events. On June 20, Charlène attended the 62nd Monte-Carlo TV Festival alone.
