The Monegasque royal couple Charlène (46) and Albert II (66) will come to Germany at the end of April. As the “Hamburger Abendblatt” reports, the two will travel to Hamburg for a special opening. On the city’s official website you can read that the royal couple is expected on April 25th. Further details about the trip abroad will be announced later.

Charlène and Albert will attend the opening of a new section in the Miniatur Wunderland in the Hanseatic city. Three weeks ago, the museum gave a first foretaste of the Monegasque Formula 1 circuit, which will expand the exhibition from the end of April. In a short clip on Instagram, racing cars can be seen racing through the impressive miniature replica of the city-state’s narrow urban canyons on the southern French Mediterranean coast.

“Test drives in the Monaco section. Opening at the end of April,” the exhibition organizers let the followers know.

The Monaco Grand Prix took place on the racing calendar for the first time in 1929, and the Formula 1 entourage has been visiting the principality every year since 1955. The car race takes place on the Circuit de Monaco street circuit.
