A character who ends up relating to some of the historical figures of the Mexican Revolution “until he himself becomes one of them, or almost”, is the protagonist of the next novel by Arturo Pérez-Reverte that will be published next fall, according to The writer and journalist has advanced in social networks.
Through his Twitter account, Pérez-Reverte has reported that he has already delivered his new book, entitled ‘Revolución’, to the Alfaguara publishing house. “I am correcting the latest tests”, he has shared with his readers.
The novel, of almost 500 pages, will be on sale predictably in October, according to the author, who has also released the cover of the book and has indicated that he will tell more about it in the coming days.
‘Revolution’ will hit bookstores a year after ‘The Italian’ (2021), in which it tells a story of espionage and love set in the midst of World War II, in the years 1942-1943, when Italian combat divers sank or damaged fourteen Allied ships in Gibraltar and the Bay of Algeciras.
