Helene Fischer would like to be on stage and sing with her role model Celine Dion. “I visited her show in Las Vegas and spoke to her briefly. I grew up with her voice,” said the 39-year-old to the radio station Hit Radio FFH in Bad Vilbel. She could also imagine a duet with Sarah Connor, but “the right moment just hasn’t come yet.”
Despite her accident on the trapeze during a show, she continues to do acrobatics. Acrobatics are now part of her, says Fischer, but she is never careless in her shows.
A very special moment in her career was the 2014 Football World Cup, in which her song “Breathless through the Night” played a major role. “I never thought this song would take off like it did,” she said.
