The wave of criticism of Duchess Meghan does not stop after her Spotify deal ends. Now Jeremy Zimmer is speaking at a panel discussion. This is reported, among other things, by the website “Semafor”. Zimmer, managing director of one of the most well-known Hollywood agencies, simply describes Meghan as “untalented”. The head of the United Talent Agency made clear statements about Prince Harry’s wife at an advertising festival in Cannes.
“It turns out that Meghan wasn’t a great audio talent. And not necessarily any kind of talent either,” Zimmer said. Just because you’re famous doesn’t mean you’re good at something. According to Zimmer, the reason is also a “new wisdom” in the podcast scene. There would be fewer and fewer celebrities there, but more and more talent. Podcast is more than a talk format on the radio, in which personalities from daily events take place “and not the Windsors”.
Spotify canceled the Archetypes podcast after just one season and 12 episodes. In the audio format, Meghan spoke to celebrities such as Mariah Carey, Serena Williams and Trevor Noah, among others. Zimmer is considered one of the most well-known celebrity executives in Hollywood. His protégés include Mariah Carey, but also great actors such as Bryan Cranston, Kevin Hart, Anthony Hopkins or the director M. Night Shyamalan.
A spokeswoman for Archewell Productions told The Wall Street Journal after the Spotify deal ended: “Meghan continues to work on developing content for the ‘Archetypes’ audience on another platform”.
