Kourtney Kardashian, 44, who is expecting a child with her husband, Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, 47, has thanked her “incredible” doctors for saving her unborn baby’s life.

The heavily pregnant US reality star wrote on Instagram on Wednesday (local time) that urgent prenatal surgery had been performed on the baby. She now has a whole new understanding and respect for mothers who have had to fight for their babies during pregnancy. “Leaving the hospital safely with my baby boy in my womb was the truest blessing,” Kardashian wrote.

She also thanked her husband – “my rock” – who interrupted his tour in Europe and rushed to her side in California. “God is great,” Barker wrote on Wednesday on short message service X, formerly Twitter. He was so grateful that the emergency surgery on her baby went well. The tour would now resume on Friday, the drummer added.

Because of an “urgent family matter” from Barker, the US punk band Blink-182 canceled several concerts on their world tour in Europe on Friday, a few hours before a planned performance in the Scottish metropolis of Glasgow. This Friday (September 8th) there was an appearance in Belgium. In Germany, concerts are planned for September 9th in Cologne, September 16th in Berlin and September 17th in Hamburg.

Barker and Kardashian announced their marriage in May 2022. Kim Kardashian’s sister announced last June that she is expecting a baby. It is the first child of the entrepreneur and the drummer. Both have three children from previous relationships.
