After their separation in 2020, Olivia Wilde (38) and Jason Sudeikis (47) still do not seem to have answered all questions about their children. As the US celebrity portal “TMZ” claims to have learned from anonymous sources close to the ex-partner, Sudeikis’ lawyer allegedly contacted a New York judge to clarify child support issues. The court is said to have set a hearing date for February 15.
Olivia Wilde is therefore surprised about this. Finally, both a New York and a California court agreed to handle all custody issues in Los Angeles. Sudeikis’ lawyer has appealed against this decision.
It goes on to say that Sudeikis is said to be willing to pay Wilde “a reasonable amount” in alimony. However, Wilde’s lawyer is said to have asked the judge in New York to reject the application. So the court in Los Angeles can decide on matters relating to the children.
This isn’t the first time the affair between Wilde and Sudeikis has come to public attention. Wilde was presented with custody documents live on stage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas in April 2022. She received a large, yellow envelope with the words “Personal and Confidential” written on it. According to an anonymous source, the industry magazine Variety reported that Sudeikis was unaware that the papers would be delivered to Wilde in this public manner.
Wilde didn’t believe Sudeikis. In a later interview with Variety, she accused him of wanting her ex-partner to “sabotage” her. The incident was “really malicious,” she said. In addition, their two children Otis (born 2014) and Daisy (born 2016) suffered greatly.
Wilde and Sudeikis have been a couple since 2011 and engaged since 2013. In November 2020, the two actors announced their separation. Since then, they are said to have shared custody of the two children. But according to media reports from the summer of 2022, they allegedly couldn’t agree on where their children should primarily live.
