A year after the death of Olivia Newton-John (1948-2022), her daughter and widower are opening up about allegedly having supernatural encounters with the ‘Grease’ star. The actress and singer died on August 8, 2022 after a long battle with breast cancer at the age of 73.

“Two weeks after she died, my phone accidentally took a picture of my dog and there was a little blue ball of the same color as this floating next to his head,” Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi, 37, said in an interview US magazine “People”. She touched a necklace with an aquamarine pendant that the deceased had once received from her husband, John Easterling (71).

Shortly before her death, Newton-John gave her the necklace. Years ago, mother and daughter watched “paranormal shows” together and talked about it. The singer and actress has said that she wanted to appear to her daughter “as one of these ball things”.

Easterling also had a similar experience, he says. He traveled to Peru to take his wife’s ashes to visit the place where they once said yes: “I took a picture and this blue ball is right between my eyes. […] It was a supernatural year .” The magazine does not show the images of the supposedly supernatural phenomena on its website.

Newton-John passed away “peacefully this morning at their ranch in Southern California, surrounded by family and friends,” her husband said a year ago. The actress “[was] a symbol of triumph and hope for over 30 years by sharing her life’s journey with breast cancer.”
