Unbelievable, but US star Nick Cannon (41) has become a father again. As the comedian announced via Instagram, his tenth child was born on September 23 – just under a week after he received miracle number nine from another woman. Cannon also revealed the name of the latest and probably not the last addition to the family in his post. No joke, apparently the tenth child’s name is Rise Messiah Cannon.
Of all the births he has witnessed, Rise Messiah’s was the most difficult. Mother Brittany Bell (34), with whom Cannon has two children, Powerful Queen (1) and Golden (5), had to endure “48 hours of excruciating pain and life-threatening danger” before they shared “ten pounds of love and joy” were allowed to welcome.
Cannon only experienced his ninth joy as a father on September 14, when daughter Onyx Ice Cole Cannon was born: “God gave me and Lanisha Cole the privilege of taking in an angel here on earth,” Cannon wrote about a black and white photo , which shows him with Onyx and her mother, model Lanisha Cole (40), in the hospital. It’s Cole’s first child.
But it gets even crazier: Cannon only became a father for the eighth time at the end of June this year: The son bears the sonorous name Legendary Love. This in turn was announced by his mother, model Bre Tiesi, on Instagram a month after the birth.
A tragedy struck Cannon’s seventh child: The child they shared with musician Alyssa Scott, son Zen, died of a brain tumor last December at the age of just five months.
He also has twins Moroccan and Monroe (11) with pop star Mariah Carey (53). In June 2021, DJ Abby De La Rosa also gave him twins Zion and Zillion (1). De La Rosa is currently pregnant again, but she hasn’t revealed who the father is yet – if it’s from Cannon again, he’ll probably have to think of another high-sounding name in early 2023.
