Nick Carter (43) continues to defend himself against allegations of sexual abuse. In court documents, which are said to be available to the US celebrity portal “TMZ”, the singer brings “twelve witnesses” into play to prove his innocence.

In December 2022, a 39-year-old woman filed a lawsuit against the Backstreet Boy singer. Nick Carter is said to have made her submissive with alcohol on the tour bus in 2001. Then he is said to have forced the then minors to have oral sex and raped her. He infected her with the HP virus. She is now demanding $30,000 in damages.

Nick Carter filed a counterclaim in early February 2023. In it, he describes the allegations, also according to “TMZ”, as “the culmination of a years-long conspiracy” against him. The singer wants $2.35 million in compensation. He and his band missed this sum due to the allegations.

The witnesses that Nick Carter is now calling are now supposed to refute the statements made by the plaintiff. The plaintiff alleges that the singer approached her at a concert in Tacoma, Washington, while she was in line for autographs.

Nick Carter claims in the new court documents that it was “virtually impossible” to have contact with fans that day. There was no queue for autograph hunters. The fans would also not have had access to the buses. Security personnel, managers and other fans should be able to witness this.

The Backstreet Boy also allegedly disputes the alleged victim’s claims that he has autism and cerebral palsy. A witness who is said to have been friends with the plaintiff at the time of the alleged rape could attest to that. She should even be able to testify that the plaintiff was not at the concert that day.
