Damp soil caused problems when traveling to the Nature One techno festival in the Hunsrück on Friday. “Yesterday evening and during the night, cars had to be pulled out of the mud at several access roads,” wrote the festival on Instagram. This made arrival difficult.
“We spilled about 1,000 tons of gravel,” said the festival spokesman. The floor was fixed in this way on the driveways and in front of one of the stages. Plastic flooring has also been laid in tents. This week there had already been major problems with mud and rain at the metal festival in Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein. The organizers had imposed an arrival stop.
But the Nature One is a long way from that. “Currently there are no problems at all, everyone comes to the campsites,” said the spokesman on Friday afternoon. “The arrival phase has now calmed down again,” said a police spokesman in the afternoon. “I also believe that most of them are here now. The people who did the work are still to come.” The organizers expect around 60,000 ravers and around 50,000 campers.
