The MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) will be presented this year in Düsseldorf in the PSD Bank Dome. This is the sixth time that the award ceremony has been held in Germany. On November 13th, the MTV EMAs will be broadcast live to more than 170 countries, and as always, performances by top-class stars are planned.
The MTV EMAs were first held in Germany in 1994, more precisely in Berlin. In 2009, the award ceremony was once again moved to the capital. In 2007 it was Munich’s turn, in 2001 and 2012 Frankfurt. In 2021, the MTV Europe Music Awards were broadcast live from Hungary.
