Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon (46, “Walk the Line”) and Ashton Kutcher (44, “Happy New Year”, “Two and a Half Men”) have announced a movie romance for Valentine’s Day 2023. From February 10, “Your Place or Mine” should be available on the Netflix streaming service, the actors announced in a funny video message as part of the virtual Netflix event “Tudum”.
In a video call, the two Hollywood stars flirt about who their dream partner for a love film would be. She raves about Cary Grant and Tom Hanks, while Kutcher first flatters Witherspoon nicely, but ends up acting like a womanizer.
The planned comedy “Your Place or Mine” revolves around old friends who live far away from each other in different cities. Their lives are turned upside down when they decide to swap homes. She wants to fulfill a lifelong dream in New York, meanwhile he is supposed to take care of her teenage son in Los Angeles.
Screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna (“The Devil Wears Prada”, “27 Dresses”) makes her feature film directorial debut.
