The American actress Morgan Fairchild (73) mourns the loss of her fiancé Mark Seiler. The “General Hospital” star announced this in several Twitter posts. Her partner died at the end of last week. “I’m sorry to announce that my partner (36 years together) and fiance Mark Seiler passed away last Friday night.” She also posted a photo together.
Seiler had suffered from Parkinson’s for several years, but in the end he died of Long Covid after three corona infections. She describes her love as a “warm, brilliant and very funny man”. She was devastated and can only recommend to everyone: “Hold on to your loved ones and please remember to wear a mask!”
In addition to numerous expressions of condolences, her colleague Mark Hamill (71) also spoke under the tweet: “I’m so sorry about your loss, Morgan. I send you my love and my deepest condolences.”
Fairchild and Seiler met and fell in love in 1980. In 2016 he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. In April of this year, Fairchild tweeted about the serious illness and revealed that the couple had “been living with it for a while”. During the corona pandemic, Fairchild said in a “Closer” interview that Seiler was being placed in a nursing home where he was being “very well” taken care of.
