Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan apparently want to live closer to the scene. As the US portal “TMZ” reports, the couple is apparently currently discussing moving to Los Angeles to be closer to Hollywood. An insider said that Harry and Meghan had decided to no longer look for a house in Malibu. Instead, L.A. is now the new desired place to live.

However, they have not yet viewed any houses there, but are interested in various parts of Los Angeles. The couple currently lives in Montecito on the California coast. But that’s probably too far away from what’s happening in Hollywood, where they attend a lot of events. Even Malibu, which has since been discussed as a desired place to live, is still too far away for them.

As “TMZ” claims to have learned from insider circles, privacy and community are two very important points on the list that the new place of residence should embody. They had concerns about this in Malibu after a property they had visited became a magnet for paparazzi and journalists.

Harry and Meghan apparently have good memories of Los Angeles: in 2020, after their withdrawal from the British royal family, the two lived in media mogul Tyler Perry’s villa in Beverly Hills for a few weeks. Perry recently spoke about this time in a podcast after the couple broke away from the royal family in Great Britain and wanted to move to the USA.

The media mogul claimed that Harry and Meghan had been “hiding out at my house for a long time.” It was “so great,” remembers Tyler Perry. Nobody noticed anything for weeks. “They were so happy. It was such a beautiful moment,” Perry said. Harry and Meghan later purchased their own estate worth a reported $14 million in Montecito, California, where they currently live with their son Archie, 4, and daughter Lilibet, 2. life.
