Actress Rebel Wilson recalled meeting Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan on the US talk show “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen”. While Harry “couldn’t have been nicer”, Meghan was “not that cool”, she wasn’t “very affectionate”, the Australian said.

“Oh really?” asked host Andy Cohen, wanting to know if they had known each other before. “No, we only had one mutual friend, a polo player,” Wilson replied. It was through him that they first met in Santa Barbara, California. Wilson’s mother, Sue Bownds, was also there.

Her mother asked Duchess Meghan “slightly rude questions like, ‘Where are your children?'”. Cohen responded, “Maybe that’s why she was a bit distant?” “Maybe that’s why she asked, ‘Who are these pesky convicts from Australia?'” laughed Wilson.

It’s not the first time Duchess Meghan’s character has been criticized. According to a report by The Times, a former employee claimed in 2021 that Prince Harry’s wife had massively bullied employees. She is said to have expelled two assistants from her immediate environment and undermined the trust of a third employee.

Both Harry and Meghan’s office and the palace have denied the allegations. In an official statement, which was also available to the US magazine “People”, a spokesman for the couple said: “The Duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character.”

Neither Prince Harry nor Duchess Meghan have commented on Rebel Wilson’s comment.
