The actors Matthias Schweighöfer (41) and Elyas M’Barek (40) used the opening of the Berlinale last Thursday for a couple’s evening. Together with their partners, they showed up in glamorous outfits for the start of the film festival.
Schweighöfer wore a black complete look in the form of a suit with shirt and tie. Shimmering sequins on the hem of trousers, jacket and shirt were a particular eye-catcher. His partner Ruby O. Fee (27) matched the color. The actress wore a black, off-the-shoulder, bustier robe with sheer sleeves, a train, and a mullet cut that revealed her black lace-up pumps. She let her loose hair fall over her shoulders in light waves and used a sparkling silver chain as an accessory. The subtle make-up kept the focus on the glamorous robe.
Elyas M’Barek opted for a dark gray suit with a light pattern and wore a black shirt underneath. His wife Jessica, who has been married to the actor since last September, chose a more eye-catching look. The model appeared in a floor-length, sleeveless dress with a turtleneck collar, which was made from a shiny silver satin fabric. She also wore her hair loose over her shoulders and kept her make-up subtle with some mascara and pink lipstick.
The festival opened with the melancholic romantic comedy “She Came to Me”. In addition to German celebrities, Hollywood stars such as Anne Hathaway (40), Peter Dinklage (53), Marisa Tomei (58) and this year’s jury president Kristen Stewart (32) honored themselves on the red carpet in front of the Berlinale Palast.
