Since the end of the first season of “Loki” in July 2021, fans have been eagerly awaiting the sequel to Disney’s most-watched Marvel Studios series, according to the streaming service. The provider has now released a brand new trailer and a new poster of the epic about the god of practical jokes in preparation for the second season.
As can be learned, the weird Marvel anti-hero remains in the custody of the “Time Variance Authority”, which is trying to bring order to the time-space chaos in which the main character is. In both the past and present, Loki must face crazy new challenges. The problem is that the former anti-hero seems to be being pulled across all time planes by an as yet unknown force.
Of course, Tom Hiddleston (42) again embodies the tragic god of practical jokes and deception. Other well-known characters such as Owen Wilson (54) as Mobius M. Mobius or Gugu Mbatha-Raw (40) as Ravonna Renslayer and Sophia Di Martino (39) as Sylvie Rundeydottir are back.
As can also be seen in the trailer, former child actor and “Everything Everywhere All at Once” star Ke Huy Quan (51) is fresh on board. Marvel Studios’ Loki Season 2 premieres October 6 exclusively on Disney.
