The musical, in which Carey is involved behind the scenes, is considered the big favorite at the prestigious awards ceremony in the theater and musical industry. The piece has been nominated in a total of 13 categories. The musical is an adaptation of the well-known classic film Some Like It Hot, starring Marylin Monroe, whom Mariah Carey greatly admires.

She has always been an important touchstone in my life, so much so that I purchased her beloved white grand piano at auction,” quoted “ET Online ” from a statement by Mariah Carey at the start of her production work.
