Pop singer Maite Kelly (43) is currently in front of the camera for the RTL series “Unter Uns”. As the broadcaster announced on June 9, she will play herself in her guest appearance. The episodes are expected to air on August 24th and 25th.
According to RTL, the singer has already started shooting. “I’m looking forward to appearing on ‘Unter Uns’,” says Maite Kelly. “I’m a 1990s kid and I’ve known the show from day one. For me, my guest appearance is a mixture of curiosity about what it’s like behind the scenes and nostalgic feelings.” That’s why she will present her hit “Seven Lives for You”, with which she made her breakthrough as a solo artist.
The series will star the singer as herself. In the “Schiller” TV bar, she gives a concert that the residents of Schillerallee attend. Britta Schönfeld (Tabea Heynig, 52) secretly bought tickets and surprised Rufus (Kai Noll, 58) with them. In addition to “Seven Lives for You”, the mother of three will also sing the song “I need a man”.
Maite Kelly became known as a member of the Kelly Family, which was one of the most successful groups in Germany in the 1990s. In 2007 she started her solo career. She also took part in several TV shows. On RTL she won the dance show “Let’s Dance” in 2011 and was on the “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” jury in 2021.
