After the end of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” and the media post-processing, Lucas Cordalis (55) has finally returned home. Wife Daniela Katzenberger (36) posted an emotional reunion video of Cordalis’ arrival in Mallorca on her Instagram channel. You can see how the third-place winner of this year’s jungle camp comes out of the airport building and hugs daughter Sophia (7) warmly.
The cat underscored its touching reunion clip with the song “I’ll Be Missing You” by Sean “P. Diddy” Combs (53) and Faith Evans (49). In the text accompanying her post, she simply writes “Finally” followed by a heart emoji. Almost a week ago, Katzenberger longed for her husband’s return in an Instagram story. “I’m so happy when Lucas comes home and we have our old life,” she said at the time. The couple has lived in Mallorca since 2016.
The jungle camper Cordalis, who ended up third, addressed his fans in his own video a few days ago before departing from Brisbane Airport in Australia. “With all my heart” the son of hit legend Costa Cordalis (1944-2019) thanked his numerous fans for the support during the RTL show in the clip. With the fact that he matched his father’s legendary win at “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” could not repeat, Cordalis says he has made peace. Now he is “nevertheless happy”, he explains in the video, “even if it wasn’t quite enough for the crown”.
