Tim Mälzer (53) will soon be competing against various top chefs for the ninth time: As broadcaster RTL announced on Wednesday, the new season of “Kitchen Impossible” will start on Sunday, February 25th at 8:15 p.m. A total of eight new episodes are planned to be broadcast on VOX.
Tim Mälzer and his cooking opponents are once again sending each other to different places around the world: the famous black boxes are waiting for the cooking professionals in Wales, Portugal, Kenya, South Africa and Japan, among others. Each box contains a new challenge in the form of a specialty that needs to be recreated under the conditions of the cooking show.
At the start on February 25th, Tim Mälzer meets the Austrian chef Richard Rauch (38). Episodes with Hans Jörg Bachmeier (57), Stefan Wiesner (62), Anton Schmaus (42), Alexander Hermann (52) and Tobias Bätz (40) are also planned.
The ninth season also comes with three “Kitchen Impossible” special programs: In the “Baltic Edition” (March 24th), Tim Mälzer and his opponent Matthias Diether (49) go to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. In the “Hamburg Edition” (April 7th) he gets to cook together with Edi Frauneder in the Hanseatic city. At the end there will be a three-way duel in the “Best Friends Edition” (April 14th) with Juan Amador (55) and Lukas Mraz (33).
The new episodes of “Kitchen Impossible” are available on RTL one week before they are broadcast on TV.
