In December, the TV program doesn’t just have numerous Christmas films to offer. TV programs and shows also want to use the Advent and Christmas season to entertain fans in a special way. These Christmas specials are planned.

In the Christmas special of “Kitchen Impossible” (Sunday, December 3rd, 8:15 p.m. on VOX), Tim Mälzer (52) gets help from a well-known colleague: Johann Lafer (66) is a guest on the show for the first time and trains with Mälzer Duo in the Christmas challenge. Tim Raue (49) and Hans Neuner (47) are competing against the two, sending their colleagues to the Polish capital Warsaw. There, maltsters and lafers have to conjure up star-level Christmas dishes. These include porcini mushroom soup with black garlic or gingerbread aubergine filled with plum chutney and halva cream with chocolate sauce.

Tim Raue and Hans Neuner, on the other hand, travel to the island of Malta, where they are welcomed by a large gastronomic family. Inspired by Nonna Rita, the family prepares traditional dishes for up to 60 people. The duo cooks, among other things, a Christmas quail or an apple and walnut tart and has to convince the family members with it.

According to the announcement, in “The Lions’ Den – Finally Christmas” (Monday, December 11th, 8:15 p.m. on VOX), founders will present contemplative business ideas to the lions “in the winter wonderland.” As usual, Dagmar Wöhrl (69), Ralf Dümmel (56), Nils Glagau (48), Tillman Schulz (34) and financial entrepreneur Carsten Maschmeyer (64) are on the investor side. As in the regular edition, the start-ups can hope for the necessary investments and expertise from the entrepreneurs.

Entertainer Jürgen Milski (60) will also be seen as founders together with ski instructor Ralf Kosche (60). They present the lions with their Gogglestop, a glasses stopper for ski helmets. “We are inventors and founders, but we have, and we openly admit it, no idea at all about sales,” explained Milski about his appearance in the “Lion’s Den” in an interview with spot on news. “And that’s why we decided to apply for ‘The Lion’s Den’.”

On December 22nd (8:15 p.m. on RTL), the “Dancing Star” 2023, Anna Ermakova (23), will be seen in “Let’s Dance – The Big Christmas Show”. The winner of this year’s “Let’s Dance” season dances again with Valentin Lusin (36) in the Christmas show. Also taking part is the “Dancing Star” from 2018, Ingolf Lück (65), with Ekaterina Leonova (36) and Sarah Engels (31), who took second place in 2016 and is now dancing with Vadim Garbuzov (36).

Moritz Hans (27, 2nd place 2020), who dances with Renata Lusin (36), will also be seen in the Christmas show. Rebecca Mir (31, 2nd place 2012) is dancing again with husband Massimo Sinató (42) and Benjamin Piwko (43, 3rd place 2019) with Isabel Edvardsson (41), RTL explained. On Instagram it says about the Christmas special: “All couples dance two dances each to Christmas songs and for the title ‘Christmas Dancing Star 2023’.” There is also a cash prize of 10,000 euros for a good cause.

The festive spin-off of the successful comedy series “LOL: Last One Laughing” will be available on the Prime Video streaming portal from December 22nd. There is the usual host Michael Bully Herbig (55), who invites many well-known faces to the “LOL” mountain chalet. What’s special: In the “XMAS Special” the stars compete not as individuals, but in teams under the motto “Silent Night. Nobody Laughs”.

These are: Anke Engelke (57) and Bastian Pastewka (51), Carolin Kebekus (43) and Teddy Teclebrhan (40), Martina Hill (49) and Kurt Krömer (49) as well as Michelle Hunziker (46) and Rick Kavanian (52) . It is important to avoid any laughter under the Christmas tree for more than three hours. Do Anke Engelke and Kurt Krömer have an advantage? This is your fourth time on the show. The winning team of the first special edition can look forward to the “LOL-XMAS” trophy and receive 50,000 euros, which will be donated to a good cause.

Günther Jauch (67) and “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” Greetings again for the holidays: According to the announcement, the Christmas special of the popular quiz show, which will be shown on December 26th at 8:15 p.m., has eight candidates who will bring their best Christmas stories with them.
