All Britons celebrating their 100th birthday this year can expect a special surprise from the royal family. King Charles III , 74, and his wife Camilla, 75, are posting a special greeting card to those same UK residents, which also includes a glamorous portrait of the couple, according to People magazine.
This is a photo taken at the State Banquet at Buckingham Palace in November 2022. Camilla wore a purple lace dress with long sleeves and a sparkling tiara and matching necklace around her neck. Charles threw himself into a chic black tailcoat, which he combined with a white shirt, waistcoat and bow tie.
100-year-old Catherine Ford has already received mail from the royal family. A Twitter post said she was “proud to have received her card for King Charles’ 100th birthday.” A photo of the portrait of Charles and Camilla was shared. The card reads, according to People: “My wife and I are delighted to know that you celebrate your centenary on February 21, 2023. It brings our warmest congratulations and heartfelt good wishes on such a special occasion .”
