He had imagined this award ceremony differently. Actor Kevin Costner (68) was honored at the Golden Globes for his role in the series “Yellowstone”. Because of the storm, he was unable to accept the award in person in January. Now he has posted a video on social media showing him unpacking the statue in bed at home.

“I would have liked to have been there,” he said, and thanked his supporters with emotional words: “I’m so glad I found film. I don’t know what else my life would have become if I didn’t make my films Thanks everyone!”

He watched the ceremony on TV with his family at home, but it wasn’t the same, Costner said. “My wife felt that I was sad not to be there, so she surprised me and decorated our house with 30 balloons. When my name was called at the ceremony, my children stood up and clapped.”

Los Angeles County was hit by severe storms and flooding at the January awards ceremony, forcing him and his wife to stay home.
