Katharina Wackernagel (43) says goodbye to Nina Petersen. On October 15, from 8:15 p.m. on ZDF, she will be seen for the last time in the role of detective inspector in the “Stralsund” thriller. The case “The Red Line” is already available in the media library from October 8th.
“As Commissioner Nina Petersen, I have solved a total of 20 exciting criminal cases with my team. I will miss this character, which I was able to help shape and develop over 13 years,” explains Wackernagel in a press release from the broadcaster. “The same goes for beautiful Stralsund. Although it was sometimes really cold during the shooting – I loved it!” Although it is not easy for her to say goodbye, the actress is looking forward to future challenges and tasks.
In “The Red Line” there is a dramatic reunion for Nina Petersen with her ex-colleague Benjamin Lietz (Wotan Wilke Möhring), who is seriously injured on her doorstep. He asks for asylum, but doesn’t want to reveal exactly what happened. Petersen is called by Karl Hidde (Alexander Held) to a crime scene in a marina, where Thomas Jung’s (Johannes Zirner) team can connect a dead man to Lietz.
Hidde is kidnapped and taken onto a ferry. Together with Karim Uthman (Karim Günes) and Stein (Andreas Schröders), Petersen tries to save her colleague undercover. Other roles include Dimitri Bilov, Wladimir Tarasjanz, David Mullikas and Tomek Nowicki.
