As a rule, actress Kate Walsh (54) rarely talks publicly about her private life. In an Instagram live stream with former actress Amy Brenneman (58) on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the series “Private Practice”, the 54-year-old has now accidentally revealed that she is engaged.

First, the two women talked about getting older. “It scares me that sometimes I sound like my mother,” Walsh began. She then babbled, “I said to my fiancĂ©, who is a farmer, ‘You have to seize the opportunity.'” That she called her partner her ‘fiancĂ©’ struck her just a few minutes later.

“Fiance! Yes, that’s right, I’m engaged. We’re making an announcement here on our Instagram Live,” she told Brenneman, but then took her little faux pas with humor. “I don’t really like talking about things like that.”

The first speculations about the relationship with an Australian farmer had already arisen in February 2021. Walsh was previously married to film and television producer Alex Young from 2007 to 2010.

The US actress is best known for her role as Dr. Addison Montgomery from the hit series “Grey’s Anatomy”. She also played the role in the spin-off “Private Practice”, which recently celebrated its 15th anniversary. Amy Brenneman had the role of Dr. Violet Turner inside.

Most recently, Walsh was also seen in the well-known Netflix series “Dead Girls Don’t Lie” and “Emily in Paris”.
