Rare public appearance: Actress Kate Hudson (44) attended a Los Angeles Lakers game with her two younger children. She watched the match against the Denver Nuggets with her daughter Rani (5) and son Bingham (12). But the prominent trio didn’t bring any luck to the Lakers: the team lost 114 to 124.
Mother and daughter had chosen similar outfits for the sporting event: Kate Hudson wore a black leather blazer with a white shirt and knee-high brown suede cowboy boots. Rani also appeared in a black blazer and a white shirt. However, she also wore white sneakers. The mother-daughter duo watched the game closely, with the actress repeatedly explaining something to the five-year-old. Some snaps showed the How to Get Rid of Him in 10 Days star also intimate with son Bingham, wearing a green hoodie and jeans. For example, Kate Hudson playfully grabbed him by the chin, which made him laugh.
The daughter of actress Goldie Hawn (78) has a total of three children: The eldest, Ryder (20), comes from Kate Hudson’s marriage to musician Chris Robinson (57), which lasted from 2000 to 2007. From 2010 to 2014, the actress was in a relationship with musician Matt Bellamy (45) and had their son Bingham with him. She has daughter Rani Rose with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa (37), who is also a musician. The couple has been together since 2016.
Over the years, Hudson has been open about how she copes with co-parenting with the three men. “It may not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside I feel like we’re making the best of it,” she told the “Sunday Times” in November 2022. “The unit that I have with three different children and three different fathers is a really strong unit.” She continued, “My goal in life is to feel love and give love, but I’m also practical, so I work really hard on relationships day in and day out because I like them.”
Hudson also gushed during an episode of Divorce Sucks! in March 2019 from their parenting partners. Even after the breakup, she can still stay in touch with them via text messages, emails and phone calls. “I think you just have to be over-structured. We have a lot of appointment calendars in our family,” she said about the practical process. Her ex-partners travel a lot, but are still “really present fathers”.
