The RTL show “I’m a star – get me out of here!” is finally entering the home stretch for this year’s edition. However, no celebrity had to leave the jungle camp on day 15. Five participants are currently sitting around what is probably Australia’s most famous campfire. Meanwhile, Leyla Lahouar (27) is taking advantage of her rival Kim Virginia’s (28) exit the previous day: she is now finally getting up close and personal with Mike Heiter (31). A successful tactic? But first things first:
First, Friday evening in the Australian jungle starts with a heated argument at the last supper with Kim. Lucy Diakovska (47) had previously fought for five stars for the team. The reward: all kinds of vegetables and fruit as well as a good piece of camel meat. But after the preparation, Mike and Fabio Knez (30) took a look into the tube. Her fellow campers picked out the nice pieces beforehand and left the two of them with almost inedible pieces of fat. “In the end you always see people’s true colors. You don’t do that,” complains Fabio, “we’re the garbage chute!”
Fabio later wants to punish Twenty4Tim (23) by having him take out the garbage “for stealing meat.” He literally explodes and feels that he has been treated unfairly: “I didn’t give you the piece of fat. Lucy put the meat on me, I didn’t choose that!” And Mike, who is also pretty angry about the camel fat drama, lets off steam: “I don’t like such selfish behavior at all.” He didn’t think that we would have problems in the last meter because of it – “because of food.” The thick atmosphere between the parties remains palpable until late into the night.
“His eyes have something so loving about them. I think he already knows that I’m interested,” Leyla tells Jungle Telephone. But has her chosen one really noticed her affection? Leyla actually approaches Mike offensively on the night watch date: she cuddles up to him tenderly, the two lovebirds walk arm in arm around the campfire and yet: Mike is shy and also brings up Tim in the conversation. Out of jealousy? Leyla waves him off: “He’s not into women at all.”
Although she hasn’t reached her destination yet, Leyla is on top: She is happy that Kim had to leave the camp beforehand: “I felt a slight relief inside my soul.” In conversation with Leyla, Mike is also happy about Kim’s departure: “I survived! It’s a shame for her, but a relief for me, or rather for us.” Leyla agrees with her crush: “It really was pure hell for you! I felt really sorry for you.” For Mike it was “terror,” says Leyla.
Tim and Mike had to go to the jungle test on Friday. The task of the “wall fail”: A wall hovered a good three meters above a dirty body of water, on whose two ledges the celebrities had to position themselves. The two have to pass star halves through a hole, which logically quickly turns out to be not particularly easy: balance and synchronicity are required and after initial success, the two fall off the wall several times with full force. In the end, they can be proud of their results: the celebrities get three out of five stars.
While Tim and Mike are in the jungle test, Leyla can’t help but reveal herself to her fellow campers. “Mike is very nice,” she tells Fabio and Lucy. He was very careful with her in the shower: “He didn’t do anything there either, I was a little sad,” said Leyla. They were just rubbing each other’s backs, said Leyla, laughing. When Mike returns from the exam, the almost couple goes to the pond together to giggly re-enact the famous “Dirty Dancing” scene in the water. When you shower afterwards, you lather each other up. Will kisses, groping or even more follow? Still missing.
Later, Mike also finds clear words on the jungle phone about his crush: “I really enjoy being around Leyla. I feel free. I like her character, her body is also very great.” But something seems to be holding him back. The evening before the campfire, Fabio takes his friend Mike to task. He should finally take the next step with Leyla: “She would be really happy if you gave her a kiss.” What Mike of course doesn’t know: Fabio was previously assigned to Mike by Leyla: He should give him a little push in the right direction. Does it help?
There are still two days until the big jungle finale and yet no celebrities had to leave the camp on Friday evening. Moderator Sonja Zietlow (55) and Jan Köppen (40) announced the decision live in the jungle. The reason: Because Cora Schumacher (47) left the show early and voluntarily, the final five are allowed to spend another night together in the jungle. Tomorrow it will be decided who will advance to the final on Sunday.
