He has assisted hundreds of celebrities from the British and German versions of the jungle camp (ITV/RTL). Now dr. Bob is reportedly no longer part of the original UK edition of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, The Sun reports. For the first time in 20 years he should no longer be part of the Australian camp.

Bob McCarron (72), as the London native is actually called, was already missing in the season that was relocated to Gwrych Castle in Wales due to Corona. He is said to have already been replaced at the Welsh castle by another medical expert who was not seen on TV.

dr A fan favorite, Bob has been with the show since it started in 2002 and hasn’t missed an episode.

And what does that mean for the German edition of the popular RTL show, which can always be seen at the beginning of the year? Fans of the RTL format should be able to breathe a sigh of relief, because as “The Sun” reports, Dr. Bob will continue to be involved in the German version.

He is also said to be continuing to work on his spin-off show, which will see him traveling around Australia. A source told the British newspaper that Bob is so busy that he “had to give something up – unfortunately that’s the British version”. It’s unthinkable to imagine the show without “Medic Bob,” as he’s called in the UK version,” the source said.

Nonetheless, Dr. Bob and the broadcaster don’t part ways in resentment. An I’m a Celebrity rep told The Sun that Bob “will always be a friend of the show,” wished him “the best of luck” and thanked him for “his hard work.”
