The anniversary season of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” (also on RTL) ends with a more than worthy winner on RTL: “No Angels” star Lucy Diakovska (47) ends up in first place in the final and is the new jungle queen. Diakovska initially prevailed in the final three-way vote on Sunday evening against influencer Twenty4Tim (23), who many had already seen on the jungle throne due to his large number of followers on social networks. But the 23-year-old only ends up in third place.

After this somewhat surprising elimination, only bundles of energy Lucy and ex-“Bachelor” candidate Leyla Lahouar (27) remain in the race early Monday morning German time. The moderators Jan Köppen (40) and Sonja Zietlow (55) ultimately announce Lucy’s victory. She can look forward to the impressive prize money of 100,000 euros and victory in the popular reality format – and reign as queen of reality television for a year.

Previously, the beginning of the final jungle broadcast was entirely dedicated to the love drama surrounding Leyla and Mike Heiter (31), who was eliminated in the semi-finals. You can see pictures that were taken before Mike left the camp. At Twenty4Tim, fellow camper Leyla cries over Mike’s rejection of her.

At the same time, she asks Tim: “Have I completely embarrassed myself here because of this shit?”, to which the influencer answers with a clear “No”. Meanwhile, Mike hears that Leyla is crying because of him. “I hope it’s not because of me,” he says at first, and then feels bad when he finds out that Leyla’s tears are falling because of him.

Nevertheless, Leyla wishes the eliminated “all the best” in a final message from the jungle telephone. In her eyes, he was “still a very great man.” Heiter didn’t deserve all the “trouble” caused by fellow camper Kim Virginia (28) in the jungle camp.

Once back in Australian reality, he treats himself to a hamburger in a fast food chain. After successfully ordering (“My English is not so good but I need food”) he bites into it with relish, nods in agreement and seems happier while eating than in Leyla’s arms. Now Mike is fine again, but he still hopes not to run into his ex Kim Virginia later at the beach club, who had previously made most of the camp a veritable hell for him.

Meanwhile, vacuum cleaner representative and semi-finalist Fabio Knez (30) is greeted with a cigar by his girlfriend Darya Strelnikova (31) at the Hotel Imperial (formerly Hotel Versace). However, before Darya takes a closer look at Fabio’s six-pack, which has been hardened by starvation in the jungle, he should first take a shower because he could still have “a few fly larvae” on him, as the former Bavarian official himself jokingly suspects.

As in “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” As usual, each of the three finalists then goes into a separate jungle test. In “Footwork”, Tim first has to go into a dark snake pit – and does more than well: the eventual third-place winner wins a total of five stars here, but there are appetizers, a peach iced tea and eye pads, which the influencer also uses during the last supper together creates.

Lucy, a bundle of energy, has to take part in the food test at the dreaded wooden table, whereby Dr. As always, Bob (73) is there to offer helpful advice. “Try to keep it in,” he advises her, which Lucy manages to do in the “Energy” jungle test, despite a few loud gags and the loss of a tooth. She eats, among other things, bull penis and pig uterus. There are four out of five stars for the future jungle queen.

However, things aren’t going quite so well for camper Leyla Lahouar, who also had to pass the jungle test before. During the “Passion” test, Leyla is strapped to a wooden table and the RTL team enjoys pouring all sorts of creatures over her. As usual, the 27-year-old provides amusement with entertaining comments (“I think I pissed my pants”).

However, when moderator Köppen announces spiders and scorpions as the next round of exams, it becomes too much for Leyla. With the legendary words “I’m a star – get me out of here!” once again she breaks off early – and there is no dessert for the three finalists at the emotional last supper.

However, they enjoy long-missed delicacies such as a cheeseburger with fries, beef carpaccio or, in Leyla’s case, a kebab – before the live coronation of the new jungle queen Lucy.
