From “Ocean’s Eleven” over 20 years ago to “Ticket to Paradise” – Julia Roberts (54) and George Clooney (61) have spent a lot of time together. And not just in front of the camera. Nevertheless, the two Hollywood stars never became more. Coincidence or intention? They explain that in an interview for their new film.

Speaking to the stars, “Access Hollywood” host Kit Hoover (52) asks if there ever was something like a “no dates rule” between the two. Roberts asks, “That we’re not dating each other? I don’t think we had to say that.”

Clooney explains in more detail why it was clear from the start that nothing would happen between the two. “Julia was always in a relationship or I was in a relationship, and we quickly became friends, right away.” They always had a lot of fun, but he doesn’t think that was ever an issue.

Roberts and Clooney have appeared in several films together, including “Oceans’s Eleven”, “Confessions – Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” or “Money Monster”. In their latest film “Ticket to Paradise” they have been divorced for years and together they try to dissuade their daughter from marrying her new boyfriend in Bali.
