Dr. Johannes Wimmer (40) says goodbye to the “NDR Talk Show”. And this week: On Friday, November 17th, he will be hosting the show on NDR television for the last time alongside Bettina Tietjen (63), as the broadcaster has now announced. In September 2022, the doctor and TV star took over the moderation. Guests announced for the last edition with him include presenter Verona Pooth (55), actor Robert Stadlober (41) and his fellow actor Max von der Groeben (31).
Dr. According to the announcement, Johannes Wimmer explains his farewell: “Entertainment can touch hearts and promote understanding. This is a task that I took on with great joy. Entertainment is fun, but my purpose in life and my passion is medicine.”
At the end of the year there will be a reunion with the doctor on NDR: According to the broadcaster, on December 29th he will be there with Bettina Tietjen, Barbara Schöneberger (49), Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt (67), Judith Rakers (47) and Giovanni di Lorenzo (64) can be seen in a moderated joint best of “NDR Talk Show and 3nach9 – The Best of 2023”.
Who will take Johannes Wimmer’s place and then moderate the “NDR Talk Show” alongside Bettina Tietjen from next year will be announced at a later date, as the broadcaster further announced. The “NDR Talk Show” is the second oldest ongoing talk show on German television after “3 nach 9”. It appears every Friday at 10 p.m., three times a month. Barbara Schöneberger and Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt also act as moderators. The show just celebrated a milestone: the 1,000th edition of the talk show aired on October 13, 2023.
