After his serious snowplough accident earlier this year, Jeremy Renner (52) is currently fighting back to life. One of his biggest supporters seems to be his nephew, whom the Marvel star saved in the tragedy. In an Instagram story, the actor shared a photo of a sweet message he received from little Auggie.
“I’m so happy my uncle is Hawkeye (one of the ‘Avengers’). I’m also happy my uncle survived his accident,” Renner’s nephew wrote on a lined piece of paper. The Marvel star was touched by the news: “Love my little man. Bless you Auggie.”
In another story, Renner posted the photo of two stuffed sloths and wrote: “My inner feelings.” Currently, however, the 52-year-old is anything but lazy and is working diligently on his recovery. He always gives his fans an insight into the rehabilitation measures.
Renner was seriously injured in an accident in early January 2023. After a snowstorm on his mountainside property a few miles from Lake Tahoe, he was run over by his own snowcat, which is said to have slipped and rolled straight toward his nephew. Renner tried to stop the tracked vehicle, but sustained blunt chest trauma and more than 30 broken bones.
