At the proud age of 83, Jack White has become a dad again. “The girl is in perfect health,” the pop star confirmed to the “Bild” newspaper. He and his wife Rafaella, who is 44 years his junior, were “crying with happiness”.
This is the second baby together for the couple, who married in 2015. Her son Max was born in 2019 and now has a little sister. According to the report, the girl was taken via cesarean section on Monday morning. She therefore goes by the name Angelina Melody. The former football player and music producer also has five other children from previous marriages.
The couple didn’t expect “that Max would have another little sister.” He believes that “the good Lord” wanted it that way. In May, White had already confirmed to the daily newspaper that he and his wife were expecting another child. Rafaella was four months pregnant at the time.
White, whose real name is Horst Nußbaum, explained that he had “long since finished planning his family.” Rafaella had told him a few weeks earlier that she was pregnant again. At first he was “totally perplexed,” but then they “hugged each other and both cried with happiness.”
Jack White has worked as a composer and producer with numerous stars in the music industry over the past decades. The hits for which he is partly responsible include “A new love is like a new life” by Jürgen Marcus (1948-2018) and “Schöne Maid” by Tony Marshall (1938-2023), who died in February .
