Unusual announcement of the beautiful baby news: Ann-Kathrin and Mario Götze’s second child is born. While nothing is happening on their social media accounts, their employer is already revealing a lot.
“Mario Götze has become a father for the second time,” says the X account of Bundesliga soccer club Eintracht Frankfurt. The club also wishes: “Congratulations to the whole family and a good start together.”
The followers now also know another sweet detail: After their son (born in 2020), the sports professional and the model have apparently had a girl this time, because the club is happy: “Welcome to the world, little junior eagle”.
With this message, Eintracht also announced why the 2014 World Cup winner is “not in the squad” on Saturday.
Ann-Kathrin and Mario Götze have been together since 2012. They got married in a civil ceremony in May 2018, and the big wedding celebration in Mallorca followed in 2019. Son Rome was born in June 2020. At the beginning of May 2023 it was announced that the couple was expecting another child. Ann-Kathrin Götze herself only confirmed the great news a month later.
