It all started with a pair of feet. The feet were in pink pompom high heels and belonged to the actress Margot Robbie aka Barbie. They walked across a pink floor, stopped, took off their shoes – and stayed in exactly the same position they had been in: toes on the floor, heels in the air. Just like barbie feet. There had been word that a full-blown Barbie movie was about to hit theaters, and there had been a meme-turned-poster campaign.
The main roles were prominently cast with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. The first few seconds of the trailer proved that this movie was going to be something special.
