After her horror accident live on stage last night, music superstar Helene Fischer (38) has now made a first statement. In a press release and on Instagram, the singer gave an update on her health and at the same time offered an insight into her emotional life after the involuntary cancellation of the concert.
Fischer reports that she “hardly slept a wink” last night because her heart was “heavy from yesterday – from this abrupt end of the show”. “It’s the last thing I want to disappoint you guys like that!” But a continuation of her concert was not possible under the given circumstances. “I wanted to go straight out to you, but then I had to realize: The wound was too deep to continue,” Fischer describes the moments immediately after her horror accident.
Then the singer talks about her health. “Please don’t worry about me. I’m fine. I was well taken care of,” explains Fischer, and at the same time thanks her “great team of doctors” who “sew up fantastically” her initially bloody wound “in the hospital”. She also reassures her fans with the words “No fracture or anything else was found” and also thanks all the paramedics. “I take my hat off to you, you angels without wings!” Said Fischer.
The concert in Hanover marked the end of the first half of Fischer’s “Rausch live” tour. The next gig is planned for August 25th in Cologne. Until then, Fischer says he wants to regenerate. “I’m using the break now to recover and recharge my batteries so that I can rock with you all again in Cologne,” the 38-year-old promises her fans.
The concert organizer “Live Nation” has announced that “the canceled event in the ZAG Arena will not be made up for”. “The tickets can be returned to the respective advance booking offices,” says a press release.
