Ronan Keating’s (46) older brother Ciaran Keating died in a tragic car accident about two weeks ago. While the Irish singer, a former member of the boy band Boyzone, has not made any new posts on social networks since then, his wife Storm Keating (41) has now commented on the tragic loss for the first time. The 41-year-old shared a moving poem on Instagram.

“And she would be lying if she said she doesn’t sometimes think about the moments that could have been and the memories that should have been,” Storm Keating posted on Instagram. The poem is attributed to a writer named Ziarising. The singer’s wife simply added the word “mourning” and a white heart to her post.

According to British media reports, Ronan Keating’s brother Ciaran Keating died in an accident on July 15. He and his wife Ann Marie are said to have been on their way to a football game played by their son Ruairi when the accident happened. The car they were in collided with another vehicle near the town of Swinford. The driver of the second car was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Another passenger and Ann Marie were treated with non-life-threatening injuries.

Ronan Keating performed his well-known song “This Is Your Song” at the funeral service for his late brother last week. The singer originally wrote the song about a month after his mother’s death in 1998. Along with other mourners, Keating also carried his older brother’s coffin to St Patrick’s Church in Louisburgh, Ireland, where the funeral service was held.
