World star Mick Jagger donated a special pressing of a Rolling Stones record to the “A Heart for Children” charity gala – and Roland Kaiser bought it at auction. “It is important to offer children every chance of a normal life with protection and education in order to realize their potential,” said Jagger in a pre-recorded recording in conversation with moderator Johannes B. Kerner.
Pop singer Kaiser then made the highest bid and donated 10,000 euros at the gala in Berlin on Saturday evening for the test pressing of the record “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” by the Rolling Stones and Lady Gaga – one of ten in the world. “Mick Jagger is my hero,” Kaiser said. But he will give the record to a friend for Christmas who is an even bigger Stones fan.
