Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are parents again. After having a son, they now also have a daughter. “They are delighted to welcome a little girl into the family,” a rep for the actor told Page Six. Further details about the addition to the family are not yet known.
The fact that Leslie and Harington, both known from the hit fantasy series “Game of Thrones”, are expecting another child became public in February 2023.
The Jon Snow actor’s two-year-old son was “about to have the shock of his life” as he’s getting “a brother or sister,” Harington host Jimmy Fallon revealed earlier this year.
They are currently trying to prepare their firstborn for the arrival of the sibling, he said. “We point to Rose’s tummy and we say, ‘Mom’s baby,'” Harington explained. Her son then points to his stomach and answers: “My baby”.
Harington and Leslie co-starred as Jon Snow and Ygritte on Game of Thrones before dating in real life. They first appeared as a couple on the red carpet at the 2016 Olivier Awards in London, and they confirmed their engagement in 2017. The wedding in Scotland followed in 2018, and in early 2021 they confirmed that their son had been born.
