Duchess Meghan (41) has spoken to King Charles III for the first time since her rejection. (74) and its coronation on May 6th with a surprising video message in public. The 41-year-old paid tribute to photographer Misan Harriman during one of his appearances at a TED Talk event and gave a short eulogy for him. Together, the two share an intimate relationship, as Harriman captured some of the most important moments in Meghan’s life with the lens – including daughter Lilibet’s first birthday picture (1).
Harriman has “a unique eye for good photography,” the Duchess said. “I’ve witnessed his talent firsthand as he has captured numerous milestones for me and my family.” Among other things, the photographer contributed the picture with which Prince Harry (38) and Meghan announced in 2021 that they were expecting another child after Archie (3). Through this intimate collaboration, the photographer has also become a “dear friend” of the family, Meghan continues.
Sharing a photo of the moment on his official Instagram account, Harriman said, “The Duchess of Sussex was kind enough to announce me on stage. Thank you for your support, Meg.”
At least when returning to England for the coronation of his father Charles III. Meghan’s husband Harry will have to do without this support. As was recently announced, Meghan and their two children will remain in the United States in early May and will not attend the ceremony.
