The parade down the red carpet went almost undisturbed. Stars like Kristen Stewart, Anne Hathaway, Elyas M’Barek and Matthias Schweighöfer had long since found their place in the almost full Berlinale Palast on Potsdamer Platz when climate change said hello. Two Last Generation activists got through the barriers and stuck on. A brief murmur in the audience, tired applause from the stands, then the camera panned back to the opening gala of the 73rd Berlinale.
