“Bauer sucht Frau” is back – and makes long faces in the competition of “The Lion’s Den”. The RTL dome show got off to a very successful start on Monday evening, now in its 18th season. Viewers are apparently far from getting tired of the long-lived dating format. A whopping 3.91 million viewers aged 3 and over tuned in to RTL, which corresponds to a strong market share of 14.3 percent. “Die Höhle der Löwen” fell to an all-time low on VOX. Only 1.52 million pairs of eyes showed interest and tuned in, which – favored by the strong competition from the country – led to a meager 6.1 percent market share.

“Bauer sucht Frau” did particularly well in the advertising-relevant target group of 14 to 49 year olds. 1.06 million viewers and a market share of 16.4 percent are more than impressive.

Already this Tuesday evening at 8:15 p.m. with the second of a total of twelve new “Bauer sucht Frau” episodes. Parallel to the TV broadcast, the next episode is also available as a preview on RTL.
