The penultimate episode of “Bauer sucht Frau” (Monday, 8:15 p.m. on RTL, also on RTL) brings a role reversal for some candidates. At the end of the Farm Weeks, the farmers visit the wives they have successfully sought. And since they often also farm, they have to get down to business now. Ulf (31) has to help muck out the stables of Anna Lina’s (28) ponies. The horses could soon move to Ulf’s farm. Because between him and Anna Lina it is “very serious”.
Max (26) has to go too. Like Anna Lina, his Anna (25) owns horses. But Max doesn’t have to clean out, he has to ride. For the first time in his life he sits on the back of a horse. It bucks promptly and simply stops. The young “Bärsche” from Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland is not yet considering moving. After all, they only live 60 kilometers apart.
Jörg (49) and Patricia (40) have a long-distance relationship. The Hessian regularly visits his chosen one in Duisburg – and is amazed at the many trees in the “green lungs of the Ruhr area” (Patricia). She dreams of moving to the farm and getting a donkey. But that will probably take another four years. Because that’s how long she wants to work for the city of Duisburg. Because then she is in a safe position to which she can return at any time. Or something like that. In any case, Jörg agrees to the deal.
Arne (31) and Antje (31) are already one step further. She wants to move in with him. But her clothes don’t fit in his closet. So they plan to refurbish an apartment on his farm that is in need of renovation. As a symbol of their long-lasting relationship, the couple, who are in love, plant an apple tree – and attend dance school to practice for the wedding.
The first couples are already thinking about the future, while two farmers are still having farm weeks in progress. Maik’s (30) ends early. Kathrin thinks Maik’s lack of independence is a problem. After all, he lets his mom cook for him every day. When making pizza together, he acts rather clumsy. But Maik is also undecided, he lacks the “romance” in his relationship with Kathrin. Before they “continue torturing” (Maik), the two mutually decide to end the farm week early.
The farm week of Martin (56) and Carola (54) ends regularly, but without a happy ending. Carola has been struggling with the Allgäu farmer’s “lazy mouth” for a long time. Even a conversation with Martin’s talkative daughter doesn’t change anything. “That’s how the people of the Allgäu are,” she says. A meal at which Carola and Martin’s daughter prepare cheese spaetzle finishes off the lady-in-waiting. Instead of praising her for the food, Martin just says “Eat, shut up, it’s good”.
The debate at the end of Hofwoche is no surprise either. The spark didn’t jump over with him – and because “nothing came from him” neither did she.
